Dr. Mohsen Dorodchi Confirmed as Chief Guest for Tech Talks at IC‑DAIS 2026
We're delighted to announce that Dr. Mohsen Dorodchi will join us as Chief Guest at Tech Talks at IC‑DAIS 2026, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 4 PM at 10130 Mallard Creek Rd, 3rd Floor, Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Mohsen Dorodchi is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Human-Centered Computing and Education in the College of Computing and Informatics, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With over 10 years of experience in industry and over 26 years in academia, he combines technology advancements with different pedagogical approaches to train future professionals. He is an active member of the Computer Science Education Research Community led by ACM SIGCSE and served as the inaugural chair of the first ACM SIGCSE Virtual Conference in 2024. He has published many peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals and conferences, and is currently conducting research on combining machine learning and deep learning with generative AI to build tools that facilitate teaching and learning. He has been Principal Investigator (PI) as well as co-PI for a number of National Science Foundation grant projects, as well as several industry-sponsored ones.
